Our Story
Our community engagement journey began in 2001 with endeavors in different community works through organizations like the Big Brothers and Big Sisters, as well as participating in civic duties such as juror call(s). These engagements gave us needed knowledge about community institutions and the perspective on how community operates. We also learn the complexity engage in the element of cultures that shaped how truly a community coexist to build strength in resolving common challenges and the need to impact lives. Learning charity works through Feed the Children Organization and involvement in creating hygiene environment for the homeless in community Shelter center brought practical knowledge about community plight, which not only exist in one environment.
These gathered knowledge and informed perspectives from interactions with both horizontal and vertical levels led to critical questions that brought together few like minds on how we can better redefine and transform those challenges that impact communities. Irrespective of other personal (health, finances, mid-life-crisis) and community challenges that were encountered, it was imperative at the time; especially, for all that indeed know their passion calls not to renegade on the gaps to be filled in our unique communities. Although, these challenges were found out to be added knowledge that turned out to be strength for further academic pursuit in community and economic development. Eventually, we realized we’re indeed on the path of career molding. Today, our individual development both spiritually and academically have added significant value in our approach to community service and planning.
Through informed knowledge gained, we channeled change in the approach on how community and economic inclusion in transforming policy into program may be accessible by all in the community-field. This new approach started through Tulsa community assessments, in Tulsa Oklahoma. The exercise brought people together (of different backgrounds that include the natives) on common concerns and resolution path. The design outcome of the assessment was submitted to the office of the Mayor in December, 2013.
Overtime, some of the community questions asked was instrumental in the shaping of local policy, as well meeting with constituency reps for representation. These activities, overtime, led to the transformation on how we consider community in the approach to holistic benefit for economic players and practical impact of lives.
Since 2017, we entered into new era in community development with emphasis on program development & planning, community diagnose & environment research, potentials mapping, program designs, system evaluation & analysis, project management, and circular economy planning. These activities we work with community – institutions, instruments, industries, organizations, people, stakeholders, constituency reps, and related gov’t agencies for development purpose.
Community Collaboration
Our collaboration with community-field would afford everyone the opportunity to make an input towards change. This in process supports community regeneration. Community collaboration is significant in the sharing of values, gains, derived-potentials; while regenerating the value into economic benefit for inclusive – community, people, their resources income & consumption. Industries & corporations revenues expansion, skills-capacity & production increase. As well as behavioral & mental health improvement, environment wellness, and hygiene toward building productive community.
Our collaboration goal focuses on the building blocks of community synergy through each-one reach-one and each-one lean-on–one approach. This approach enables holistic community involvement to boost peoples’ esteem and informed perspective for the purpose of community development. With this approach, we expect as a result responsible people’s community.
Our approach through collaboration is knowledge-base with perspective of inclusive policy-objectives drawn, in the transformation of community potentials into development benefits. This exercise enables key segment of the economy to yield benefits for all willing and able participants in the social, environmental, economical, healthwise, and otherwise through – organizations, industries, agencies, people, and visionary stakeholders.
